Giveaways

I have never been a big believer in giveaways, especially the ones where there is "no purchase necessary." I always enter and never win. Okay, so that's not quite true.

In high school, my mom bought gas for the car and I entered the ticket to win a free turkey. I won. They called and asked to speak to me. I'd filled out the form and I won a turkey.

Back in the spring, I entered a parenting.com toy giveaway. It was one of those enter every day to win one of our thirty prizes. I only entered on the days there were things I thought I'd like to win. Last week, a package showed up at the door of our friends' house. I'd won a ball collection for the kids. One soccer ball, one basketball and one football.

Today I signed up for a few more giveaways at parenting.com/giveaways. There are a host of different things to sign up for, toys, vacations and book, just to name a few. I'm hoping I'll win again!
